Some patrons note that the outdoor seating is rather limited, with only three tables available, suggesting a picnic on the beach as a viable alternative. This can be a drawback for larger groups looking to dine in.
A few diners felt overwhelmed by the extensive menu, particularly the number of combos and light bites, which can make choosing a bit of a chore. Additionally, while the atmosphere is casual, some visitors wish for a bit more decor to enhance the dining experience. Overall, though, these are minor hiccups in an otherwise delightful experience.
Outstanding fish and chips. Ordered 4 times now. Fish was fresh and flakey, batter was crisp, crunchy and flavourful. Chips nice and golden brown, not pale, not greasy. Battered sausage also very good. Curry sauce was the best i’ve had at a chip shop, tartare also very good, homemade very pickley, delicious! Great value during lunch special, £10 large cod chips and sauce. Can’t beat it. Super Friendly chill staff! Loved the vibe, thanks for the fanta :)
We were visiting Brighton for a long weekend and wanted to get fish and chips to eat on the beach - we went with one of the closer fish and chips shops with the best reviews which ended up being Little Jack Fullers. Me and my partner had tried a few different food places in the lanes throughout the day so we weren’t “starving” and we decided to share a large cod and chips with curry sauce. The food from Little Jack Fullers was absolutely amazing and portion sizes were generous too. By the time we got to the beach (about a 5 min walk) the food was still piping hot. The fish seemed to be very fresh and the chips were delicious. If we were in Brighton again we would definitely come back here for our fish and chips! Would definitely recommend to anybody visiting and wanting fish and chips by the seaside!😋🎣🍟
Our favourite fish and chips in England so far! 🏆 Got a little too much for 2 of us; large cod, large haddock, large fries, onion rings and calamari 🐟 🍟 🦑 🧅 The fish were thick and fresh, very flavourful in general by itself too. Fries were thick and good on its own as well. Onion rings were one of the best I have had. Calamari also came with a scampi and some cod bites which was a little much 😅 There’s only 3 tables of 2 chairs outside the store though, so do prepared to have your takeout by the beach as a picnic 🏝️ Definitely worth the visit, as can be seen from the constant stream of diners coming in for their fish and chips fix 👍🏻
Best meal we had in Brighton. Love the mushy peas and the generous meaty serving of fish! Batter was not too heavy. We enjoyed the calamari too. Lady who served us at the counter was nice and patient
Made an extra effort to visit this place and try their fish and chips. We were not disappointed, homemade curry sauce, homemade tartare sauce, fish made to order, crispy batter, flaky fish and tasty chips. Very affordable as well. If you want to sit and eat there is outdoor seating otherwise the beach is a 5-minute walk away if you prefer to eat with the sea view.
Definitely one of the best fish & chips I've had in the UK. Tasty & crispy batter on the fresh cod fish. Chips are not greasy. Servings are big. Only got a small size and enough to get full. Friendly staff and a queu of locals was a good sign. Well priced too. Will definitely go back. 💯
I'm biased, but you won't get fish and chips better than you can in the North East. However, after visiting Brighton for the day, these were excellent. The fish was good, great batter, not too greasy, brilliant chips, and the curry sauce some of the best I've ever had anywhere(!) Not super expensive but not cheap either (around 16-17 quid for large fish and chips, with a sauce and drink). Would definitely recommend!
